  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whip together cream cheese and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix pumpkin puree, melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
  5. Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients until just mixed.
  6. Layer half of the batter in the pan, spread cream cheese mixture over it, dollop remaining batter on top, swirl gently. Sprinkle crumb topping evenly.
