Easy Asian Ground Beef and Cabbage Stir Fry

For the Sauce:
- ½ cup coconut aminos
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
For the Stir Fry:
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil or preferred cooking oil
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 garlic cloves minced
- 1- inch piece of ginger grated
- 1 head of cabbage thinly sliced (about 8 cups)
- ½ cup shredded carrot
- Salt & pepper to taste
For Garnish:
- Green onion slices
- Sesame seeds
Cook the Onion
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the chopped onion and cook, stirring, until translucent, about 5 minutes.
Add Garlic, Ginger, and Beef
Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the ground beef, breaking it up with a wooden spoon, and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
Stir in Vegetables and Sauce
Add the shredded cabbage, carrots, and prepared sauce.
Cook, stirring, until the cabbage is wilted and the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
Taste and Serve
Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
Serve warm, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
